New year – new music. The label Freakadelle starts the year 2017 with “Superis EP” by Gerald Peklar – founder of the association Freakadelle. The EP is a sampler from the same-titled album, which was released on Reflex Recordings in 2016.
The tracks have been reworked particularly for the dance floor and feature precise shuffled grooves, driving basslines and a reduced but sufficient amount of sound elements. Only B1 (Superis5) is the odd one out, being a dreamy and spheric electronica track. Apart from that, the EP impresses with hypnotic loops and pressing arrangements without flourishes.
